23/10/2018 – Portrait drawing @ Jimmy’s

Portrait Workshop – led by artist Penny Sobr & Dylan Wynn
A great way to study yourself is to draw your own portrait.
We brought in mirrors for the residents to create self portraits, some drew profiles and some drew their silhouette.
Drawing teaches you to see, to observe beyond what you know, to slow things down.
What makes us up as individuals ? What is our identity ? How do we see ourselves ?
Where are we at present, how do we see our future and our past ?
Creating this art helps us to think about some of the answers and create some fab inspirational  art work!
