10/07/2018 – Sugar Skulls @ Jimmy’s

Sugar Skulls Workshop – led by Oblique artists Penny Sobr & Dylan Wynn
Sugar Skulls are a traditional folk art from Southern Mexico used to celebrate Day of the Dead. So we thought we’d get the guest’s at Jimmy’s to make sugar skull designs as part of the Mexican family tradition to remember any of their dear, departed loved ones.
We loved the fun results, one guest painted his skull black and gold dripping with compassion, some used collage mixed media and some drew with felt pens.
